Pet Name:	Crouton
My Pet:	Meet Crouton ... At 4 weeks old Crouton was badly burnt in a house fire last year. He was in a litter of 4 kittens and although his mother managed to carry 3 of the kittens out of the burning building Crouton got left behind after the heat got too much for her. Crouton was found the following morning clinging to a broken piece of furniture floating in the flooded basement by firefighters who called in the SPCA who rescued him. Crouton suffered 3rd degree burns over 25% of his body ... He lost most of his toes, the tops of his ears, his tail and was badly burned on the right side of his body. Croutons road to recover was a long one but he has been with us since days after his accident and we have nursed him back to health. He now leads a very health and fun life with his cat brothers and other than looking a little different he is a normal happy feline. Crouton is now 10 months old, happy, healthy and and inspiration to everyone he meets. We are proud to be his humans and therefore we share his incredible story with you. Thanks for reading.
