How does it work?
Simply follow the prompts on the contest page where the NAME of the FACE will be shown in groups of 4 every week for 10 weeks.
There will be 4 clues every week and your task is to select the correct match.
You can enter up to a maximum of 10 times per day. Every Friday there will be 4 new clues ( 40 FACES in total to match - 4 per week - for 10 weeks ). Enter at any time during the 10 weeks. The more weeks you enter, the more chances to win!
There will be first, second and third place winners. First will win $2500, second will win $1500, and third will win $1000 in shopping sprees from participating businesses. No cash value.
Clues will be displayed every Friday from February 27 - May 7, 2015 at 5pm in the Abbotsford News print edition as well as abbynews.com contest link. The News will randomly draw 10 correctly matched ballots every week for 10 weeks, with a total number of 100 entries.
A random draw will be made from the accumulated 100 entries to determine 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes.

Week 9 April 24 - April 30 Cast your ballots during this time period
Week 10 May 1 - May 7 Cast your ballots during this time period
Contest winners chosen Monday May 11th, no later than 5PM.
No purchase necessary. Maximum ten valid entries per contestant, per day. Contestants must reside in Abbotsford / Mission or Aldergrove as this is a SHOP LOCAL initiative.
You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be notified by phone or email.
If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If Abbotsford News cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
Abbotsford News reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Abbotsford News reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.
Employees of Abbotsford News, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to Abbotsford News the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
Abbotsford News reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and Abbotsford News are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.

sprees from participating businesses. No cash value. Each prize will be presented in $500 increments. The $500 increments must be spent at one single business. Winners will be notified by telephone following the close of the contest. Winners will have a maximum of 14 days to confirm their choice of business where they intend to spend their winning gift certificate. Therefore first place winner will receive 5 gift certificates valued at $2500 and the first place winner will confirm 5 businesses to spend their winnings. Judges decision is final. Prize must be accepted as awarded.
